Four members of Nottingham Indoor Bowls Centre attended Ponds Forge in Sheffield on Wednesday 20th June as guests of Co-op Funeralcare - sponsors of the latest event to be added to the World Bowls Tour calendar.
 
Pam Cutts, Jackie Turner, Stuart Smith and Sarah Jenkinson took part in the Pro-Am tournament alongside other guests and the world's top 8-ranked bowlers - David Gourlay, Alex Marshall, Andy Thomson, Mervyn King, Jason Greenslade, Robert Weale, Paul Foster and Greg Harlow. 
 
Ian Bond, who many Nottingham members will remember from the National championships recently held at Nottingham, also stepped into the Pro-Am tournament alongside his duties of commentating for Sky TV.
 
The World Bowls Tour event is being televised on Sky TV on Thursday 21st June and Friday 22nd June.

Nottingham IBC are holding a raffle to win free league bowling for the whole of the 2007-08 winter season!
 
Tickets are priced at £5.00 each and available to buy from reception.
 
The draw for the winning ticket will be held at the club Annual General Meeting on Thursday 13th September 2007.
